Concerning Common Core Standards for English Language Arts textbook adoption:
The instructional materials on the lists were extensively reviewed, evaluated and recommended by state selection committees composed of grade/subject area teachers and administrators in the English Language Arts curriculum area from across the state. The main criterion for review was correlcation of the materials to the state curriculum frameworks and the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts.
